In 1997 FRS founded the Nordic Jet Line (NJL) with headquarters in the Estonian
capital of Tallinn.
Every day, the HSC "Nordic Jet" and HSC "Baltic Jet" - a pair
of high-speed catamarans put into service in 1998 and 1999 - connect Helsinki
and Tallinn with up to 24 sailings. With a cruising speed of 36 knots, both catamarans
are among the fastest ferries on this route. The crossing takes around 90 minutes.
Terminals at either side are used exclusively by NJL and allow for a fast turnover of
the load.
NJL carries around 460,000 passengers and 85,000 vehicles per year.
